Project Description:
The consumption of sugary beverages can have negative impacts on health,
such as overweight and caries. Furthermore, sugary
beverages are often consumed from plastic bottles, which pollute the environment.
Switching to tap water or tea could contribute to improving
health and to reducing the use of plastics. Despite
the advantages of doing without sugary beverages, this is not easy for
many people in everyday life. Therefore, our study investigates smartphone-based strategies to help people consume fewer sugary beverages and to promote healthier and
more sustainable beverage consumption.
