Studie zur Selbstkontrolle im Umgang mit Cannabis
In collaboration with the Directorate for Education, Social Affairs and Sport of the City of Bern, the Institute of Psychology at the University of Bern has launched a study on the topic of self-regulation of cannabis use.
Cannabis use is widespread in Switzerland, but little is known about how consumers can make their own consumption more efficient and regulate it. "However, it is important to know more here, as no-one denies that the regular use of cannabis is a potential danger," said Prof. Dr. Hansjörg Znoj, head of the study and Head of the Department of Health Psychology and Behavioural Medicine at the Institute of Psychology at the University of Bern. A study in cooperation with the Directorate for Education, Social Affairs and Sport of the City of Bern (BSS) is intended to provide clarity: an anonymous online survey has been conducted whose aim is to obtain robust evidence about the strategies and procedures with which cannabis users control their consumption.
Data collection was completed at the end of May 2019. First results are expected by the end of 2019.
